With COTA’s CEO having over 20 years of experience and Red Seal Endorsed as a machinist, complex part manufacturing is a core competency at COTA.
Ranging from complex aerospace structures, to control valves and helical gears. COTA’s machining department is comfortable working in a variety of materials, including some of the most difficult, Inconel, Titanium, and armor grade steels.
Our machining department hosts 14 advanced CNC machines, including 9+ axis mill-turns from Nakamura-Tome and horizontal production machines From Mastuura Machinery. Our blended machining and manufacturing acumen will be a key advantage to our clients in building complex structures requiring multi faceted competencies.

COTA’s manufacturing facility is equipped with a Zeiss CMM equipped with Calypso GearPro. Not only capable of ‘normal’ CMM duties, we are also able to reverse engineer and verify gear profiles, including splines, spur, and scanning of helical gears.
